The Ankrah Foundation at Mukono: Under New Management
Before we get started on the Newsletter, I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Aisha Pule and I am the incoming General Manager for The Ankrah Foundation at Mukono. For the past 10 years, I’ve worked in the shipping business. I feel lucky to finally be doing something that others only dream of: it was time for a change to and realizing my passion which is hospitality and empowerment.
When the Ankrah family offered me this position, it provided a natural transition in my life, both professionally and personally. I greatly appreciate this opportunity and the responsibility placed on my shoulder by the Family. I am confident that the Family and Board could not have made a better choice!It is therefore now my task and that of my team to make The Ankrah Resort- the hospitality wing-an ultimate destination in Uganda for those persons seeking clean, off the hook fun. I come with a fresh approach to an already great facility. Our goal will be how to improve on your overall experience with us, each time you visit!
For those of you that are wondering what happened to Professor E. Maxine Ankrah, don’t worry;she’s still involved with the legacy of The Ankrah Foundation that she and the late Canon Ankrah have lived for.This is also to ask all of you she has hosted over the last 15 years warmly to join me in saying ‘’Bravo and well done to you, Mrs.Ankrah, and your staff.You have done an incredible job with your signature of class!”

This month we were honored to host a guest who came to write a World Bank proposal. He claims to have been inspired when He began writing our Besania Get away at its highest point, 1300m above sea level. He declared: he let the inspiration flow…”There’s something that begins to inspire anybody when they climb up that Hill!” you come and test this for yourself!
